  • What are your rates?

    Rates for sound reinforcement jobs vary depending on factors such as the length of the engagement, equipment requested, and the crew size required, but Glass Elephant Pro's prices are highly competitive with average market prices. Contact us today for a quote. close

  • What information do you need to get started?

    At minimum, we need to know where and when your event is taking place, and how long you'll need our services. close

  • What sound equipment will I need for my event?

    The specific equipment you'll need for an event depends largely on what's being amplified (a band, for instance), the number of people that need to hear you, and the size of the venue. Our team of experienced engineers can select a package ideally suited for your situation.   • What do I need to provide?

    Clients need to be sure that we have access to a power source that can handle the electricity our sound equipment requires. Depending on the size of the engagement, this could range from two to five 20-amp outlets (standard wall outlets), a 30 amp outlet with a converter, or a 50 amp outlet with a converter.   • What don't you provide?

    Glass Elephant Pro will not provide musical instruments, a band, a DJ, or an emcee. We also do not handle catering, event seating or decoration, or things like floral arrangements or bar staff--these are jobs specifically handled by event companies, or the venue itself. However, if you don't know where to turn, let us know! We can certainly recommend an event professional that will fit your needs. close

  • Is there any prep time involved?

    Yes! Glass Elephant Pro will arrive early on the day of your event to set up and tune the PA system to your venue. The adjustment process uses what's called pink noise. This sounds much like static to casual observers, but is in fact a uniquely treated audio signal that allows us to quickly identify any potential troublemaking frequencies. This short process can be a bit loud, but the end result is a beautifully balanced sound! At the end of your engagement, our crew will also take about an hour to an hour-and-a-half to tear down and pack up our gear. close

  • What if it rains?

    As you might expect, our sound equipment handles tremendous amounts of electricity. For the safety of event goers and our staff, we will need to temporarily shut down and/or move any equipment that's directly exposed to rain. For outdoor engagements, it's a good idea to have a covered, elevated location available. Be sure to check with your event coordinator that there is a contingency plan in the event of inclement weather. close

  • How do I make a payment or deposit?
